Terry is the co-founder of FMW Wealth Management, LLC. For 20 plus years Terry has been working with clients of all ages helping them secure their future and helping them develop tax optimized investment strategies and knowledge obtained through serving his clients as a practicing CPA for 40 plus years. Terry has been able to add value to the investment process by leveraging his knowledge of tax rules, including the use of Net Unrealized Appreciation on stock owned inside retires 401(k) plans, and utilizing investment managers and investment products and platforms not typically accessible to individual investors.
Terry was born in Beaumont, Texas and lives with his wife, Linda in Lumberton. Terry and Linda have two children, Ginger and William, and two grandchildren. Terry graduated from Lamar University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Outside of the office, Terry enjoys bow hunting, fishing, golf and other outdoor sports. Terry serves as vice president of the Board of Trustees at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas and serves on the Lamar Planned Giving counsel. Terry is very active in the music ministry at North End Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas, where he enjoys playing the guitar.
